A lot has been happening this past 6-8 months, as I am sure you can attest to. Especially with all of your relationships. Relationship with your partner, your family, your job, and most importantly your SELF!
Change is always something that we can count on, that is one thing for sure! And, lately, its been all about Relationship!
With the shifting in energies, these shifts will either deepen and strengthen your relationship or it will be over with. I am sure many see this happening in your own lives, and in your friends lives.

I have started on a new path myself, as Owen and I did not “work out” as we had held the intentions for. There were many personal issues on both sides, and they all came up that’s for sure! Even as awake as we thought we were, the old energy patterns kicked out butts!
We are still friends and business associates, and I will always wish him well on his journey of healing and life.
(I do wish that I had learned this new work a little earlier that’s for sure! )

A New Energy Medicine Modality

And, so, I am starting off single in Mexico, and also learning and becoming certified in a new Energy Medicine modality called Access Consciousness. It is becoming clear that this is exactly what my Energy Medicine practice has been lacking, and clearing the “Bars” has very amazing effects on our triggers.

When we have a negative thought, or a judgmental thought, it triggers emotions and other thoughts.
I have done extensive work in facilitating others with their thoughts that do not serve them, and clearing them and recreating different more positive thoughts. This work is the perfect fit for my Energy Medicine practice!

The Bars Work

This work clears the triggers, so when you have another thought of the same after the work, …well…there just isn’t anymore emotions or judgements around it anymore, and the thought has no more power at that point. It is really like they have been cleared and erased! This work has helped me to shift and change at an amazing speed and my creations come in easier and faster! My creating is much more clear and concise now.

The Old Ways of Functioning

Basically, we have for lifetimes functioned on the planet from the density of our thoughts and feelings and emotions. Decisions, judgments, conclusions and computations have been the primary sources for creation in this reality. When you have a judgment or make a decision, you compute the rightness for having concluded it n the first place. they are all the parts of what you believe you have to have in order to  live in this reality. You are always trying to figure out if you fit, or benefit, or whether you win or lose. These are the things that we have identified with and made valuable.

As we move into the New Energy, we are functioning and  perceiving from knowing and being and receiving, instead of judging and the need to being right, deciding and concluding what we an receive and how we can recieve it.
Thoughts, emotions and feelings are how we polarize oneness, create the illusion of separation and cut off our receiving. Most folks are the worst at receiving! (me too! )
When your Bars are run (when you receive the Bars work) it dissipates the electrical charge of polarity as it is stored in your brain. It is like getting a computer virus of consciousness that keeps you on auto pilot instead of being present and having awareness. It is refusal instead of receiving!

If you could envision the bars as the hard drive of your computer. It has stored all of the “stuff” for lifetime after lifetime. This Bars work clears the files so that “stuff” is no longer in your file and they don’t just automatically come up anymore.
Your brain waves actually slow down when your receive the bars work allowing behavioral patterns, belief systems and points of view that you have been running since childhood or past lives to be accessed and cleared. You start to become more present in your life without projecting your past into your future and convolution of your creating and manifesting, making and allowing your creations to come in clear and concise. You are open to RECIEVE! You are literally changing the probabilities of your future possibilities.

Changing Your Life

Bars work can be used to facilitate change in all areas of your life. When you decide, and are willing to function from a more consciousness you open the doors to all healing.
It has been shown that the shape of our cells get an elliptical shape to them when they are exposed to negative thoughts and feelings and emotions, which is the first step to dis-ease. When you get your Bars run it unlocks this impact on the cells allowing the cells to return to their more spherical shape thus facilitating more ease and grace for your body….more healing!

So, if you think about it, this is really great and a incredible opportunity for the people that are having thoughts of ending their lives, have any kind of post trauma disorder, or any kind of memory or thought that gets in your way and will not integrate. Wouldn’t it be nice not to be able to get off of that medication that keeps you neutral? (please always see your doctor to go off  of any medication. It is very important to wean yourself off medications)

So, also think what it can do for the all of us. ..lol…. You do not need to feel like taking yourself off of the planet to want to create change. Everyone has old “stuff”  and dis-empowering thoughts that get in our way. Getting out of our own way can be difficult sometimes! And this really works! This also helps to change physical patterns that promote all physical healing. We all truly deserve to feel joy and happiness in our daily lives.

2012! Wow! Its finally arrived. And just when it was suppose to! lol

The year 2012 has a lot of energies built up, and I think its going to be quite the year!
Its been quite a ride this last year or so for most of us. There has been a lot of major changes,  a ton of letting go and our perspectives shifting whether we wanted them to or not! And the more we struggle against change, the more we shall suffer. Either way, our consciousness expands…suffering or not. So I say, “Why choose to suffer?”…or to be more exact...”Why am I choosing to suffer?” There is no getting out of it. UGGG! And so, as we move into the new energies, the higher vibrational aspects of consciousness will bring forward your “stuff” to be seen. What will you do when it does is the question?!
Its winter time again, and as the solstice has just passed us, we are headed into the coldest part of the winter. Winter is the time to bunker down on creating and manifesting what you want to create for the newness of the returning spring.

An Opportunity to Create

And, so as January brings in the 2012 New Year, it is also another time, and another opportunity in our lives to make that list of what you want to create in your lives.  There are things that you want to bring in, some things that you want to leave behind, and some things that simply need some shifting so they may become more balanced within and then outside ourselves. Notice what changes have happened within you over the last year. Notice how they expressed themselves on the outside.
How have your perspectives changed about yourself and others? Have you changed the old patterns? Or have you stayed the same? It takes consciousness effort and conscious thought to change old patterns of behavior and ways of thinking. This is very present moment work.
And, lets faces it. Sometimes its hard to see ourselves and discover exactly what that is!
Writing things down can help.

Consciousness is changing at a rapid pace for everyone. It seems that almost everyone that I know has been going through change in dramatic ways, myself included.  People are changing homes, relationships, jobs, and handling the shifting and changing economy. These are big changes, and these changes can be mentally and emotionally exhausting, and can bring in much fear.

Surrender and Let Go

We have become very accustomed to our lives, our jobs and our relationships with feelings of being safe. And, lately it seems like the rug has been pulled out from underneath us. Many people are asking, “What happened”? And some people are to the point of wondering how they are going to survive. There are a lot of fear energies cycling the planet.  If you ever feel fear, or feel like you are being sucked into a lower vibrational aspect of yourself (your stuff), send it to the light. Circle yourself in light and breathe in light. Gods light. This higher vibration will clear the lower vibrations. It really is that easy! Hold these intentions for yourself. This is an opportunity for all beings.

How About a Little More Change?

As we move into the new energy consciousness one thing that you will be able to count on is change.
Continuous change. So, this is the perfect time to start seriously looking into your heart, to find what allows the love light in for your expansion into this new energy shift. This will allow more ease and grace as you expand your light and raise your vibrations. The older vibrations and patterns will not fit with the new energy vibrations and the higher frequencies. If these patterns are not shifted it will cause much suffering for you and others around you. You cannot have both without suffering.  You cannot have one leg on one side of the fence and the other leg on the other. It will split you apart. And I mean this in many ways. Physically, mentally and emotionally.  You may find yourself hiding from others, hiding your old patterns, because they will come out, eventually. They can only be hid for short periods of time.
Allow them to surface. It is the only way that they can shift. Then call upon the Light to come transmute this “stuff” and help bring you into balance with your true light, Gods light. The soul aspect of yourself is very powerful. We are all powerful masters indeed. Use your energies with your heart. There is a lot that we can do to help ourselves energetically to stay balanced. Breath work is another way that helps as well.

Its important to have a great support system in your life. This could be your family, friends, a therapist or energy worker.
Stick with your support system  and team so you won’t be let down when you need “support”.  It’s okay to have a little help when you are shifting energies that you most likely have carried for lifetimes!

So, what is the new energy consciousness shift? You may have heard about the new energy shift, and perhaps named other terms like the shift, the new earth, the new age of awareness, and  there are probably a lot more terms out there.  These terms are all about an amazing change that is happening worldwide now. It is important to understand that this is something much grander than our minds and our consciousnesses can comprehend. It is beyond our mental scope of being, of awareness, because it is NEW! It is new in your conscious awareness.

Light = Information

At this time, there are amazing changes happening on this planet that will be and are the foundation for creating the new earth. There is so much more light penetrating the planet right now, and that is affecting the physical and the spiritual. I have spoken of this before, and I feel that it is important to continue reiterate. The male and female energies are becoming more and more united. In the new energy, we will be using the female and male aspects of ourselves at the same time, instead of one or the other. The gap between the two is getting smaller. The bridge is being built.
This is a huge leap in human consciousness.

This new energetic alignment that we are creating (yes, we are the creators, co-creating with Source) is transforming the energies of lower vibrations. These lower vibrational energies are ones of fear, separation and other negative energies that allow the consciousness to separate. These are also the energies that have been dominating the planet earth, and all that live on her. This new alignment that is happening on earth now is shifting the balance of light in the earth, so that more light will me manifesting within the consciousness of us humans. Light, is very simply, information.

Energies that Oppose the Light

The energies of separation has been embedded in our human aspects on the atomic and molecular levels, which is directly  connected to the third dimension of physical matter. These old energies have supported the choices of that consciousness.

There are many energies out there, as well as the old patterns within yourself, that do not wish to give up their place here on the planet, or within yourself for that matter. These energies create patterns, which is why they can be difficult to clear. When you take a look, they are easy to see.

There are many energies that are trying to prevent us from moving forward, because they are happy with the status quo. For example, creating cars that run on water, ways of living without toxins, and many other life situations, not to mention the negative thoughts and fears and old energy patterns that sabotage what we are trying to create in our lives. These energies love their hosts, and do not wish to go anywhere. In fact, you can see how opposing forces are desperately trying to hold onto their position, and are doing everything to thwart and disrupt the new age shift. Just take a look at the middle east. The old male energies are desperately trying to stay in control.

About Us

As we are all connected to ALL THAT IS, and that means the good, bad and ugly, and you may now give yourself permission to allow yourself to become more aware of feelings and thoughts that may come up for you, as these thoughts may not be your own. You may also have sabotaging  feelings of fear, confusion or mental anxiety, that may be magnified issues that are already yours. Plans that have been created by you, and things that you are trying to create may be thwarted from outside attacks, or with what seems like self doubt or confusion.

And, so I say to you, which energies and thoughts will you choose to focus on? Which energies will you choose to put more energy around, as that is what you shall manifest into you experiences. It is important to remember your truth, and to bring your focus and attention and awareness to the things you wish to create in your future. This is a present moment creating. What you choose to focus on builds energy, and amplifies.

REMEMBER, YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE CHOICE!

Spirit knows and sees that there is much suffering on the planet right now, and for so many people as this time.
Open your hearts, and your love and light, and connect with Source. Source will help bring in more light energies. If you do not know how to do this, you may want to try some spiritual yoga or meditation to help your intentions.

If you are in any kind of circle that is in the new energy perspective, or talking about the new shift, you have also then probably have had or have overheard a conversation talking about how all things are connected.

Another word that you may have heard is empathy, or to be  empathic. What exactly is being empathic mean?

Empathy is the ability to know and understand people and be in tune with or resonate with others voluntarily or involuntarily on ones own empath capacity.

Empaths have the ability to scan anothers psyche for thoughts and feelings. Most folks don’t know that they are empathic. They may think of themselves as a sensitive person.

So, when we put these two things together,(all things being connected and being empathic) what this means, is that we all have the capability to be empathic, simply because we are all connected. How many times have you heard in your mind what your wife/husband spoke before they said it? I am sure that you can come up with many different examples.

It is actually very common the hear others thoughts, thinking that they are your own. It can be very hard to differentiate. Thoughts can be very subtle.

I can remember when I was in my early 20′s, working at a steak house, and I was up in the front of the building with a country song playing in my head, that I did not even know! It felt really crazy. As I walked back into the kitchen, another wait staff was singing the song, softly. There was no way that I could have heard. After that I started noticing other thoughts and feelings that were not mine.

So, this goes for feelings and thoughts. If you are feeling sadness, grief, anger, you may want to ask if it is yours. It is very easy to let go of feelings that are not your own. Simply take a big breath in through your nose and as you release out of your mouth, hold the intention to release the feeling. It will dissipate easily if it is not yours. And, if it is yours, you have some work to do.

There is so much going on today, with the economy, earth disasters and the stress in peoples lives planet wide, that it is no surprise that we may feel these types of feelings from others.

When I am doing a healing session, I always feel what my client is feeling and thinking. It is a positive way for me to help them discover what is going on, and how I can assist in their healing process. Most of these thoughts and feelings are held in the energy field, which makes if very assessable.

I feel that often people that call themselves physics are reading their clients energy fields, and not getting information from spirit or a guide.  It is important to understand that there is a big difference in the information.

One of the ways to tell if your guides are speaking to you is that they will never speak derogatorily.  It is very different than reading thought form in someones field.

Okay! So pay attention to your thoughts, after all, your thoughts are part of how you bring things to you, and how you create what you want in your life.

Let go of what is not yours and send the light and love to yourself and out to others so they may use if if they so choose.

Our energies and our issues have been in the pot all winter, cooking it up, and getting ready for the spring cleaning. And, that time is here!

I am sure that everyone has been experiencing great change in their lives, whether it be a loss of a loved one, a huge shift in a relationship, as well as your own issues surfacing after the long winter. Spring is in the air, and that means that change is in the air, and one thing that you can always count on is CHANGE!

Change is actually a good thing. It doesn’t always feel that way, however.  We usually procrastinate when it comes to change. We get use to who we are and where we are, and how we think of and view others in our lives.  Even when we are suffering, we do not change.

When we wait for the universe to lead our way, it can be painful.

What I mean by this, is when you do not take responsibility, or action to make your changes, the universe will do it for you! And, it is not always pleasant! Being responsible for your thoughts, words and actions make all of the difference in the world, and then your personal changes can be felt with more ease and grace.

For example, when someone verbally abuses people, and treats them without respect, what they are saying to the universe is that they do not respect themselves, and would like to be dis-respected. Of course, they are not thinking that when they are name calling, and saying hurtful and degrading things. Saying things that put others down may seem to make that person  feel like a “bigger person”, but what they are really doing is showing their lack of respect and integrity about themselves,  their view of the world and people in it. It is all coming from inside themselves!

They are showing that aspect of themselves. They are actually projecting their issues onto the other person, throwing up all over them. IT’S THEIR STUFF!  The universe then says….oh, this is what you would  like to create into your experience! As is does for all of our creations.

And, so the suffering ensues. And, the other person suffers their suffering, because it has been projected  onto them.

So, as your own issues surface, and you are faced with your own un-liked parts of yourself, try to observe yourself instead of taking it out on a loved one or work mate. It is very hard for the other person to remain neutral when being abused. Try communicating with them instead of at them, and let them know what is really going on so they can give you the support you need to change; that they can hold that energy for you instead of thinking negative thoughts about you, adding to your pattern.

Here are a few things that you can do to help clear out old energy thoughts and patterns, no matter what they are!

Before anything can shift, you must OWN IT!

Remember to love yourself daily! Love yourself anyways!

Splash water on your face. It really works great to help shift perceptions.

Ground and empty yourself through out the day.

Breath work, exercise, yoga, energy clearing, changing your own thought are all ways that you can help yourself shift  negative and old energy patterns.

Sometimes, all of us need a little help and guidance. I am available to help clear out old patterns and the cobwebs of life, and also facilitate bringing in the new creations you are working on. Please check out the distance healing page.

And, so, moving to Mexico was a great change for me. I had more attachments than I realized! Letting go was painful, yet also very freeing.

It has taken me a good six weeks to ground in my energies here in Mexico.  I was very scattered feeling when I first arrived, and not thinking in very many words. Which can make it really hard to communicate verbally!    (thanks for understanding to my internet guru Owen!)

There have been many energetic “hits” so to say that I have been integrating, and will be sharing this information soon.

So, be open to the change of your own lives and perspectives. There are lots of happiness out there for the taking!

At the same time, it is important to remember that we are still creating our experiences, and it can sometimes be easy to forget that giving and receiving is how we are creating our abundance.

The more energy that you put around something, the stronger the manifestation. And so it is that when you have a thought over and over, you are adding energy each time, building energy. And it will be those thoughts that will be more likely to manifest on some level. It is an expression….you are expressing!

These are very important times. It is time to become spiritually aware now. This is no accident that you are reading these very words now. There are no accidents. When you look for something, you will find it. And,  know that, in the new energy it comes to you.  And, so in this new year, it is time to prepare yourself to understand, and EXPERIENCE  that you are a being of light and love.

It is now the time in our history for us to consciously and cognitively remember who we are. And so, I would like you to say hello to your soul self. Your “higher self” is another expression of soul self. It is time to prepare yourself to evolve in a way that you always knew you would! It is happening now. Right now all over this very planet. And, just to let you know, once you are on your “waking up” path, it is very difficult to turn back……but why would you want to?

Enlightenment is inside all of us naturally. We are multi-dimensional  souls of light and love. The knowledge of who you are is stored inside you, waiting to be accessed. By you. It is a self-awareness, and it is experiential.

What is it like to experience a higher state of consciousness or awareness? And, what can you do to start down your path of remembering?

There are many practices that you can start doing with very little effort or money.

Breath work,Yoga, Exercise, Meditation, Body Work (massage or energy work) and focusing inside. Just to name a few. You can find out a lot of info on the web for free. And, of course, feel free to contact me!

Although, I must say at this point in writing this  that it can be difficult to live in the new energy. It can be hard because of the old patterns and thoughts and belief systems that we have previously created. They still want to be “fed” and they do not want to leave under any terms. They will literally try to justify why they are okay and why they should be in your life.

Never make a compromise with any old energy patters. It doesn’t work. You will suffer with one leg in the new, and one in the old. It will tear you apart mentally and emotionally.

Remember, that anything that has been created can be uncreated.  Thank goodness for that!

There has also been a lot going on with relationships these past months. Very old patterns are emerging to be released and shifted. This can be difficult for the other partner. It is important to stay neutral for each other and not get sucked into each others issues.
It is also important to allow each other to shift and not hold each other in the old patterns. Help let your partner let go by you letting go of their “stuff” as well.

So, hang on, and know that you have the choice and power to create the changes that you want! I feel that we will be seeing a lot more of “things breaking down”. This is actually a natural process, and the only way to allow the new to surface.

It is the way to make room. Something Thich Nhat Hanh has said, “If you do not breathe out, you can not breath in. ” This message is about emptying yourself, and making room for the new. And, so it goes for all things. We are making room for the new energies to come in.

So, breathe, empty yourself daily and allow the new energies to come in as you shift into the new energy consciousness.

The process of breaking down can seem very stressful, whether it is on a personal level, like divorce or losing a job, or going through the loss of a loved one, or events such as earth quakes and other disasters come into our lives. Especially,  when we have so much access to world-wide information…via the web and the news stations, we are feeling so much more connection to these events.

These disasters are also ways of the breaking down process, allowing new ways of being and living to come into existence. I am also feeling that many will be choosing to leave this plane, as it is easier for them to leave and return then it is for them to shift into the new energy. Some will be choosing to stay in the old energy of duality and suffering.

We are also feeling these events energetically, as we are all connected.

It is ones own choice to suffer. Of course, most suffering is not on a cognitive level! We do not wake up and say to ourselves, hey, I think I shall suffer today! That would be really crazy indeed! So, start your day by making a cognitive choice of loving yourself, and other feelings that feel good to you.

It is important to understand that this is not a “doom and gloom” message. It is now time to “get” that you are the creator! Know, that this is a choice. And, you can make a cognitive choice in each and every present moment.

It is time to take responsibility for your thoughts and feelings, and ultimately, your actions.

We use the old adage of “out with the old and in with the new”. But are we really applying this in our lives? Many of us do not even know where to start! How do we clear and get rid of all of the old stuff? How do we promote change in our lives? Our patterns are deeply embedded within us. And, for most of us we are not sure what those patterns are. It can be difficult to see ourselves.

On the other hand, we are aware of some of our thoughts and emotions that can cause our suffering, as well as our physical pain that we have. Most of our suffering is self created by our very own thoughts and perceptions of what is happening in a situation.  Some trauma is more surfaced than others. We all have our stories to tell, and it is our thoughts that create and manifest into our experience. So, how can we clear those old stories and move with more ease and grace and joy in our lives? How can we expand our consciousness and awareness and create in the present moment? How can we become more present and aware?

TRUST
Persons are traumatized when they face uncontrollable life events and are helpless to affect the outcome of these events. Chronic tension, confusion and unpredictable behavior, as well as emotional, physical and mental abuses create trauma symptoms. Many distortions that we live by are simply our minds attempts to describe confusing and overwhelming circumstances that we have been unable to understand, feel and integrate. They live with-in us in a sort of flash frozen state and our minds record descriptions or stories to go with them, to try to make them fit is some way.

Sometimes after being wounded the most difficult thing is to allow life (energy flow) back into the place where we are hurting most….to be able to trust and open up our bodies and our selves again. The areas where we felt abuse on any level, physically, mentally or emotionally are not places we want to return back to. However, these stories that continue to emerge from us and redefine who we are and how we are moving through the world we live in.

However, when we do return, we can then truly discover and re-discover what it means to be open and intimate with ourselves and each other, and with life itself. During massage or energy work places of wounding are touched, and brought into the present moment to be shifted.

Wounding causes constricted energy flows, and in turn, causes muscles to tighten, blood flow becomes restricted, the breath is held, fascia adhered and the tissues hold memories, messages and stories. Trauma can create a very gray life indeed. Through massage and energy medicine work the body/mind can be restructured and we can redefine our stories as they are integrated into ourselves.

Healing our scars and our woundedness  is a continual process, and a long term commitment. There will be times where we can stay with it, trusting and speaking our truth with transitional points that allow us to move forward on our paths with speed and ease. There can be other times where we revert back to old patterns, mostly because it is something that we are familiar and comfortable with, even if it causes us to suffer and take us off of our paths.

When we can commit to living our lives in the present moment, creatively expressing ourselves through our bodies, no matter what has happened in our past, we can then return to our woundedness and have a different perspective on that wound. And, from that new place of awareness we can touch and be touched, allowing our energies and life to flow through us as we expand our consciousness.

Are we distancing ourselves from opportunity or are we opening ourselves up for change in this new year. Body/energy work can become a way of transforming long held patterns of thought and movement. Energy work and massage provide opportunities to commit to a new way, a new life affirming process and offer pathways to a stronger and empowered you!

And, so I say to you in this new year of 2011, take an opportunity to redefine the notion of who you are by opening yourself to the old wounds (or new) and transcend the previously held concepts of the old stories and the old scars.

ALLOW yourself to CREATE happiness, joy, ease and grace onto your life.

They have a wide selection of items, from clothing to clocks and yoga/workout items.  They are all organic or earth conscious in some way. Its a great place to buy for yourself, or when you need a really cool gift for someone else. And, they always have lots of specials going on. Enjoy your shopping!!

We (Owen Walcher and Cat Morgan) have decided to unplug from our daily routines and lives in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.  A lot of things led up to this event, showing us that this was our path, and the time was right to leave the Roaring Fork Valley.

And, so here we are in beautiful Mexico! Learning proper Spanish and chatting with the local peoples. Everyone here in Mexico has so nice and very heart centered. Its important to them to connect by saying good day and asking how you are before any business transactions…things go a lot smoother after that with your experience.

Of course there are negative and unbalanced people everywhere….there are gangs in every city in the U.S., but when you can cognitively live in new energy, and create as you go, you can replace your fear with love, and have a more positive experience.

And, so, as we travel down the Pacific Ocean and West Coast of Mainland Mexico in our 34 ft. RV, Internet Guru Owen Walcher  is working part time doing his Internet Marketing and On-Line Promotion work (getting business on the first page of Google), and I Am working energetically from a distance (Distance Healing), and I am coordinating courses for other healing masters, so stay tuned!

We are really enjoying the lovely beaches and local farms and food here. It is such a big shift from the big, beautiful Rockies! Miles of beach without anything in sight as far as the eye can see.

Morning meditations,  boogie boarding and paddle ball in the afternoons…with a lovely siesta, and working in the evenings.

Have you ever had the experience of something ending and you aren’t sure why?  Could have been a friend who didn’t call in 7^th grade, or a relationship that ended suddenly, or a sibling who started acting differently toward you, etc?  If you asked why, you probably didn’t get an answer that really fit.  Even if the answer fit, it didn’t satisfy you.  Probably because the “why “left you with out a way to get back in.

We have all been left and/or abandoned many times.  I am betting that you don’t really know why.  You were left wondering what you did wrong.  Especially puzzling if you think you did NOTHING wrong.  Yet the result is the same – you are out!

When you were a baby, your parents most likely didn’t give you all the nurturing that you deserved.  At that time (and ever since) you assumed that something was wrong with you.  Despite all of your growth, there is still a part of you that wonders if you have done things wrong and thus deserved to be left.

If we take this way back, it is the story of the Garden of Eden.  Break the rules (the ones that don’t make sense to anyone except the person who sets them up) and you are out.  Part of the message is that we have to “earn” our way back into the garden.  Problem is – we aren’t told how.

It is time to heal the damage done by the myth and the experiences, get the story straight – in your body and unconscious, and live as you were meant to live.

Since meeting, we have had a joint goal of creating a retreat center, where folks can come to learn, rejuvenate and explore the edge of consciousness and beyond. For months, we have been looking in the valley for property upon which to create or expand an self sustaining homestead. With the economy the way it is, we told ourselves something must be out there for us. Nope.

OK, a subtle hint was there, but we missed it. So the universe brings the moon around again, and now the office rent goes up, to an outlandish $17.75/sq for, well . . . suffice to say if they rent it out at all, it will be about $12/sq, the going rate these days in the valley.

So maybe this hint was not as subtle, but being in these human forms with all our baggage, we miss it again. So off to find new space! Now I am really excited, becuase I get to help pick the new office, and can have space for my booming Internet business. Yipee! Things are back on track.

Some people want to join in with us, or maybe not. They do yoga, and I want to do a whole lot more yoga, so we find a great space where Cat can do her Energy Medicine Healing, I can do my SEO and Internet Marketing, and we can build out a space for yoga, classes and a great place to dance! We get the price where we want it, about $12/sq, even on a 1 year lease. The owner will comp us almost $4K for build-out -we can do a nice wood floor now. Hmmm . . .

Well, this is just before we go to Vacation in Mexico for our anniversary. Mexico is beautiful, it just feels right. We stay at the Eli Cid 5 star resort in Puerto Morelos. We want for nothing. We really unwind and get to slow down. Then we drive down to Tulum. I cannot even begin to describe the energy that came from the place. The weather is grand. We swim and sail and snorkel every day. Truly a paradise here on earth, and a great way to live!

but as all vacations, this one must end, so back home to sign our contract on the new space and get on with creating! NOT! While we are gone, the building owner has leased s second space to an existing tenant, who does some form of eastern medicine. and the lease has a non-compete clause, excluding any yoga or alternative medicine practices (i.e. Cat cannot do her business, and we could not use the build out for yoga if we wanted). wow. I won’t even get into the backward business practices that such a rental condition created (remember when McDonald’s was afraid to have Burger King next door?), but the universe come right up and says: NO! You cannot have this perfect space!

And thus the wake up call, and why we are preparing to tour the Mexico in the RV this spring!

It seems to hold true that what we give is what we get. This is what keeps the flow of abundance in our lives. It is the Universal Law.

For some of us, it is hard for us to give unconditionally. We can also put expectations on our giving. It can also be hard to give, especially if we are feeling lack. We are taught to hold on to what we have, and this is how we get “more”.  And in giving, we will have less. We also have many attachments to what we have.

This kind of energy actually helps to create more lack! When we hold the energy of lack, or not having enough, we are actually telling the universe that this is what we want to experience….lack! Can you imagine telling the universe that you would like to experience lack? Of course not! But that is exactly what you are doing, and it can feel like a terrible cycle once you are in it.

INTENTION IS THE KEY.
The more we give unconditionally from our hearts, the more we can receive. This keeps the energy of abundance in our lives. You can not have one without the other.

It is also important to understand the energy of giving. It must be from your heart. If there are any feelings other than wanting to give, it is not a true energy of giving, and you will not have the abundance energy that you want to create. So, keep your intentions clear! And GIVE!

THE ART OF RECEIVING

And so it is in the art of giving, the art of receiving, and being open to receive is just as important in creating abundance. After all, how can we bring in abundance if we are not open to receive?

For many, the energy of receiving can be difficult. We attach many things to receiving. One of those attachments is the feeling of “what do we have to do in return.” Another issue in receiving is not feeling worthy. Many of us are caregivers, and are more comfortable in giving.

It does take some practice indeed! Take a look at your self and find w
here you can improve your perspective. Do you give more easily, or perhaps its easier to receive?

Practice daily giving and receiving. This is not only about the abundance of money. You can practice by giving joy, hope, love and other wonderful gifts.
And when someone wants to gift to you, be open to receive. It will make then feel wonderful!

I assume we would all agree we are each living in the realities we create for ourselves. If this concept is something new to you, let it sink in before reading on.  The point I am making is, we each live in our own reality.

As we go through life, we are constantly told what to think or believe from others. This is not to say others are trying to control us (at least no consciously), it is simply the way we use words and actions to describe our experiences to others.

It is when those experiences differ in the same situation that friction can occur. What one person sees as an honest gesture of kindness, the other views an overt gesture of another kind. Often when I get angry with Cat, it is not Cat I am angry with, but a part of me that wishes things were different, so that I didn’t need to have these feelings of anger. It sounds circular, but it really isn’t. It is about looking inside yourself instead of outside (projecting on others) when you do not feel right. Whatever right is to you, of course.

So now, when I do not feel right, I try to see what is different between what I think I want, what I perceive current reality to be, and then explicitly ask Cat (or whomever the projection is towards) “how do you perceive this”, and we generally find a common reality somewhere in there that satisfies all parties.

I bring this up mostly for guys, so that we can know that it is alright to feel anger (it is there to tell us something is not right). The problem is what you do with the anger.  If you project it toward others, that is not good.  If you listen to it ,and see what it is telling you, then you know what to change.

When you are ready for energy work, the first step, of course is to call for an appointment. (970) 274-1625.

After setting up your appointment, the next step is filling out the intake sheet, which you will find on the right side of the home page.  Print this out, and fill it out the best of your ability. Then, bring it in for your first session.

This intake sheet is invaluable for both of us. First, it allows you to discover more about yourself. Second, it helps me to discover who you are, and your issues…and lets face it, we all have some issues!

Your first session will be going over the intake together…discovering together to set mutual goals for the session(s). This can take anywhere from 1.5 hours to ? depending on what your issues are. Going over the intake sheet together also brings up energies that you are wanting to clear. Going over your intake information only needs to be done one time. It is important to discover how you are holding your energies with each trauma or issue. You will be getting on the table as well to do some general clearing work in the first session.

This is the beginning of your healing path. It is very important to come in for the next session, as we have brought up your issues, as that is the intention. If for some reason we are not compatible, I will be happy to refer you to another therapist.

Your healing path is not about “getting fixed”. It is your responsibility to own your part in creating your issues. There is lots of homework, as I try to teach my clients how to help themselves.

Any continuing  sessions are started with going over your homework. Then, bringing up the specific energies that are to be worked on and cleared that day….cutting cords, integrating trauma, release work etc. This process usually takes only 5-10 minutes.

Then its on the table for energy work! It really is that easy!

After clearing the trauma (or other work), then the time comes for regeneration. This means, bringing in a higher vibrational energy that regenerates the entire body, especially where you were holding the old energy patterns. And it feel really great! You may feel a very warm feeling physically, and you may go into a deep meditative state, due to the raising of your vibration. We want to raise your vibration so you may hold more energy and light.

LIGHT = INFORMATION

I would like to be clear that I am not a psychotherapist. However, it is very important to bring up the issues into the present moment to be integrated or cleared. We do this through talking. Most of us already know what our issues are, and are usually over-processed, so this part is usually goes with ease and grace.

Once you own your own issues, it is easier to see how you may have created and co-created them. And, then, it is easier to let them go! Energy work is something we do together.

If you require talk therapy I am happy to recommend you to someone that can help with that type of processing. When you feel that your processing is done, then it is time to get on the table!

For those who frequent the trail, it was well known that certain weather conditions made certain inclines and corners sketchy. With the addition of a few dozen new step rocks, the steep curves and sketchy steeps have been made into a meditation dream. A new rail has replaced the old pipe and concrete on the last stretch before the top.

Fall colors are peeking this week, so get outside and hike the Hanging Lake Trail. It will help you reattain your mind-body connection.

If you still have a lot of anger cropping up, are fighting about stuff, and are not living happily, but are an awakened Shaumbra, then it is time to look inside oneself and ask if the commitment is there, and if you are living it.

Since we both took the affirmative action of recognizing and shifting this old pattern, any time something starts to feel edgy, I simply ask myself or Cat “is this a new energy way, or are we sliding back into the old energy patterns?”

The simple act itself moves you back to present and into the new energy, and whatever it was comes up and out, or integrated into the whole being. Isn’t that just yummy? No blame, no fight for the energy, just pure love; and with it, understanding.

When Swedish massage was developed in the 19th-century Europe, the Swedish focus on soft tissue manipulation of the physical body probably helped massage therapists gain acceptance in the physically oriented medical community.

Later, in the 20th century, as American massage schools began to include a variety of energetic healing modalities in the curriculum, and so the massage community began a return to its holistic roots.

Increasingly in our society, people are working longer hours, exercising less, and spending more time on their computers for fun after work is over. Whenever people don’t exercise to gain and maintain flexibility and strength beyond what they need for their normal daily activities, things can break down quickly.

Massage is a wonderful way to help yourself relax on all levels. And when your mind and emotions can relax, so can your physical body.
Imagine the feeling of sore muscles that have been aching for touch. Then imagine that lovely feeling of relief when a caring massage therapist makes the first soothing contact with those needy muscles.
It feels so good to let go!

A Swedish massage session can be designed to clear energy blockages and create a strong flow of energy throughout the entire body, which moves all physiological process back toward normal. Energy blockages are associated with muscle tension, pain, inflammation and physical discomforts which we are trying to relieve during the session. Swedish massage techniques frequently help release these blockages. Swedish massage can be given firmly, and is a wonderful way to warm up the tissues for deeper body work if desired.

Compassion is the hallmark of the spirituality of massage. As the client, you can feel compassion from you therapist, as well as the nurturing and attention in their hands…..or the absence of it!

So, it is important to find a therapist that hold the energy of compassion and kindness.

After all, you deserve it.

Hello!

Over the last 6 months it seemed like the energy flow was dragging a bit…no one wanted to make decisions…changing appointment schedules….energy seemed to be moving slowly. Relationships having extreme hardships.

I have noticed a huge shift these last two weeks…..finally!

I was sitting in my hot tub…and clear as a bell I heard, “THE FLOODGATES HAVE OPENED”.

OKAY! I received the visual of a huge damn breaking and big water flowing….but it was all energetic!

And, energy is really moving now. So, hang on everyone and prepare for some changes.

After all, change is the one thing you can count on!

FEAR

And, so, it has been my experience in my energy medicine practice that when we get to the core of the issue(s)……down to the “nitty-gritty” so to speak, that fear is always at the root of the issue.

What is it that we are really fearing?

When we get to this stage of releasing and healing, (which is a great place to be), it is then the time to focus deeply inside. To discover what the underlying fear is really about.

It is NOT outside yourself…that”s for sure! Our minds will try to project our fears outside ourselves, however, continue to re-direct your focus inside.

When you can discover what your actual fear is about, you can then own it, bring in the energy of acceptance that you created it, and then it will have the ability to shift and move.

Any time that you become aware of yourself, that part of self shifts!

Try to keep it simple. Consciousness is simple….you will never “figure it out” on a mental level….because its not mental!

So, have fun and keep an enlightened sense of awareness…..observing yourself……..and allow yourself to shift with ease and grace!  Whenever I become too serious my guidance tells me to “enlighten-up”!

There is so much drama and trauma going on today around the world, and in our lives. There have been many earth quakes and recently a volcano erupting in Iceland. We are all connected, and we feel what is going on whether we are cognitive of that or not. And, its easy to get caught up in!

Has your world been shaking or perhaps feel as if a volcano has erupted in your lives?

The vibrations on the planet have been rising. This means that more of our issues and issues of those around us  are surfacing and really in our faces. And, this is usually where the difficulty begins.

Relationships can sometimes be difficult at best especially in the new energy. I would describe a new energy relationship as being open, honest, and doing your best to own your own issues. When you can be open, and completely truthful with your partner,  your partner can then help and support you to clear and shift out the old energies. This can be a very difficult process, owning your own stuff and letting go of the fear that holds us to our resistance of trusting and being open. Lets face it folks, it’s hard!

Relationships work when they get closer. At some point you will go farther than you have ever been before. When it gets really close, people can become scared. Fear comes in and then pause and distance……..and then running.

But there is a bright side. Once you do the work, its done!!!!

Most of our issues have been in-bedded within us for a long time. These issues do not want to shift or change. They like their lovely host, as it were. This is why we have such great resistance to change. It can bring up thoughts that  can cause fear, lack of trust, and anger, which we usually project towards our partners. This type of interaction usually causes separation and distance between the two of you.

When there is fear or anger, it can be hard to remember why you are together in the first place!

AND THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART!!!!  KEEP REMEMBERING THE TRUTH IN YOUR HEART.

Let your partner know that they are safe, and that you are there for them, to support and love them no matter what. Love is something that is created between the two of you. It is not something that is handed to you.

Here are some suggestions to help you stay connected:

Practice connecting on very cognitive levels.

Talk it out.

Be honest with each other.

Stay out of your head and in your heart.

Working out issues doesn’t happen overnight, however, know that it can be worked out when two people truly love each other.

I send all couples light and love and the strength and perseverance to see things through.

Have you ever been in a relationship where things don’t seem fair? Maybe there is a continual fight for the energy of who is right. As life accelerates to light speed even the subtle imbalances in our relationships can cause us to wobble away from the axes of
love and forgiveness.

Making a new energy relationship work requires that all parties in the relationship (this works for groups larger then just couples, folks) take ownership of their choices and actions.

Always striving to answer the question:

“is what I Am doing (choices) creating what I want in this relationship” – a sort of the higher good of the group, with a limited group (ok, it eventually works on the bigger groups too, but lets just see if we can work it out with our mates, then friends, etc)

and responding:

“I Am responsible for changing my behavior“  – i.e. choices I make for myself

Of course, it is the latter part (changing our own behavior) that is the hard part, isn’t it? Look inside yourself for the answers, so if you find yourself blaming your mate, or your buddy, or a co-worker; then step back, take an investigatory look at what is causing the feeling just before you place that blame, and change your perspective around whatever that is.

Hello everyone, and happy new year! This is the time of year for new beginnings in our lives. We use the old adage of “out with the old and in with the new”. But are we really applying this in our lives? Many of us do not even know where to start! How do we clear and get rid of all of the old stuff? How do we promote change in our lives? Our patterns are deeply embedded within us. And, for most of us we are not sure what those patterns are. It can be difficult to see ourselves.

On the other hand, we are aware of some of our thoughts and emotions that can cause our suffering, as well as our physical pain that we have. Some trauma is more surfaced than others. We all have our stories to tell, and it is our thoughts that create and manifest into our experience. So, how can we clear those old stories and move with more ease and grace and joy in our lives? How can we expand our consciousness and awareness and create in the present moment?

TRUST
Persons are traumatized when they face uncontrollable life events and are helpless to affect the outcome of these events. Chronic tension, confusion and unpredictable behavior, as well as emotional, physical and mental abuses create trauma symptoms. Many distortions that we live by are simply our minds attempts to describe confusing and overwhelming circumstances that we have been unable to understand, feel and integrate. They live with-in us in a sort of flash frozen state and our minds record descriptions or stories to go with them, to try to make them fit is some way.

Sometimes after being wounded the most difficult thing is to allow life (energy flow) back into the place where we are hurting most….to be able to trust and open up our bodies and our selves again. The areas where we felt abuse on any level, physically, mentally or emotionally are not places we want to return back to. However, these stories that continue to emerge from us and redefine who we are and how we are moving through the world we live in.

However, when we do return, we can then truly discover and re-discover what it means to be open and intimate with ourselves and each other, and with life itself. During massage or energy work places of wounding are touched. Wounding causes constricted energy flows, and in turn, causes muscles to tighten, blood flow becomes restricted, the breath is held, fascia adhered and the tissues hold memories, messages and stories. Trauma can create a very gray life indeed. Through massage and energy medicine work the body/mind can be restructured and we can redefine our stories as they are integrated into ourselves.

Healing our scars and our woundedness  is a continual process, and a long term commitment. There will be times where we can stay with it, trusting and speaking our truth with transitional points that allow us to move forward on our paths with speed and ease. There can be other times where we revert back to old patterns, mostly because it is something that we are familiar and comfortable with, even if it causes us to suffer and take us off of our paths.

When we can commit to living our lives in the present moment, creatively expressing ourselves through our bodies, no matter what has happened in our past, we can then return to our woundedness and have a different perspective on that wound. And, from that new place of awareness we can touch and be touched, allowing our energies and life to flow through us as we expand our consciousness.

Are we distancing ourselves from opportunity or are we opening ourselves up for change in this new year. Body/energy work can become a way of transforming long held patterns of thought and movement. Energy work and massage provide opportunities to commit to a new way, a new life affirming process and offer pathways to a stronger and empowered you!

And, so I say to you in this new year of 2010, take an opportunity to redefine the notion of who you are by opening yourself to your woundedness and transcend the previously held concepts of the old stories and the old scars.

She facilitates the experience of the “waking up” process and enables one to experientially remember who they are with light and unconditional love, having experience in a wide range of techniques, chronic illnesses and dis-ease.

Catherine has held a professional private practice in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado for over a decade, holding certifications in Massage Therapy, Healing Touch and Energy Medicine Partnerships.

Catherine is also a Reiki Master and includes Cranial Sacral Movement, Axiatonal Alignment, Focusing, Therapeutic Touch and Reflexology and Hot Stones in her practice, as well as Advanced Hypnotherapy Techniques that include Past Life Regression and Life Between Life Regression. She also works energetically on all animals, and is licensed and insured with the State of Colorado.

Catherine teaches a seven level course in energy medicine, from beginning to advanced, including classes on Abundance and Releasing Your Suffering.

As we move and think, our body restructures itself around these messages. It is truly essential to establish new patterns of thought and movement to a wounded place that conveys new positive and higher vibrational messages.

Physical transformation really begins at a very deep molecular level in our connective tissues. Our connective tissue is one of the first structures to develop in the embryo. (about 12 days after fertilization) Our connective tissue is the network that supports all of our organs and the entire structure of our bodies. It also carries and transmits all information through out our physical aspect. Collagen is the tough fiberous protein that gives our connective tissue its strength. It has a crystaline molecular matrix that is plezoelectric (generates an electrical impulse when pressure is applied), which is why the connective tissue matrix is capable of restructuring and reconstructing itself as it is moved and touched.  This network functions as a semi-conductor of energy, converting and transmitting energies into signals that carry information throughout the body.

And, so, our traumatic memories are stored not only in the mind, but throughout the body. “The body remembers what the mind forgets” (Moreno 1964) “Intelligence is located not only in the brain, but in the cells that are distributed throughout the body. The memory of the trauma is stored by changes at the level of the neuropeptide receptor…this is taking place bodywide”. (Pert 1998)

Each of our cells are covered with vast numbers of tiny receptors, like satellite dishes. Receptors function as sensing molecules…scanners, just like our ears, skin etc. act as sense organs, so do the receptors on a cellular level. They hover in the membranes of your cells, vibrating and waiting to pick up messages. A process occurs known as binding, where information enters the cell and is distributed though out the body. These binders are known as ligands. As these cells bind according to the information carried, (the vibration of the thought), changes in behavior, physical activity and emotional moods occur. The simplest of molecules, generally made in the brain to carry information are called neurotransmitters. Many of you have probably heard of some of them, like dopamine, histamine, seratonin and many more. Other ligands (or binders) are steroids like testosterone, progesterone and estrogen.

Another category, which is 95% of all the ligands are called peptides, which are “THE MOLECULES OF EMOTION”. (Pert 1998) What we are talking about here is how information travels throughout the body, better known as the bodymind. Emotions, feelings, physical pain and mental thoughts are stored in cells in the body.

Energy Medicine Partnerships is an international organization founded and directed by Dr. mary Jo Trapp Bulbrook, RN, CHTP, CHTI.   EMP is dedicated to connecting through the light with partners in Australia, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and USA.

The Energetic Healing program promotes “Healing through the light” and grew out of Dr. Bulbrook’s 20 year university teaching career, research and practice as a holistic nurse.

Healing Touch is a multi level program in energy based therapy that moves from beginning to advanced practice. After completion of the one year mentorship and final course, a person is eligible to apply for certification from Healing Touch International.

Healing Touch (HT) is an energy based therapeutic approach to healing and uses touch to influence the energy system thus affecting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and healing.

The goal in HT is to restore harmony and balance in the energy system which facilitates the person to self heal. HT is used extensively in the nursing profession; all levels of nursing form medical/surgical care, psychiatric, public health, hospice, pediatrics to geriatric care can benefit using Healing Touch.

The Healing Touch practitioner integrates this knowledge with the professional background he/she brings to Healing Touch. Healing Touch is a holistic energetic approach to health and healing.

The Healing Touch program was founded and developed by Janet Mentgen, R.N., B.S.N. HT was first offered as a pilot project at the University of Tennessee and in Gainsville, Florida in 1989. It became a certificate program on the AHNA (American Holistic Nurses Association) in 1990. HT is currently offered world wide.

See the Light!

For many, enlightenment means having knowledge and spiritual insight. Most get there from an “aha” moment.  It is generally not something you can think your way through, rather it is a feeling or a sense.

If you feel a light bulb going off in your head, chances are you had an idea, or “saw the light”. Enlightenment can be in many things, not just spirituality, but that is what we are talking about here, “waking up to God”, or remembering who you are, or finally seeing and showing your light to others.

So then, I ask again — What is Enlightenment?

For Buddhists and Hindus, it means transcending the cycle of re-incarnation, which means they can stay at the God-head after this life, and not come back to work out more karmic issues.

To me, it is being awake, knowing who you are and where you came from, and why we are all here now.  But then, I am what you would call a follower of the “new energy” or “new consciousness” that is now entering our earthly plane.  In this new energy, there is no karma, no past life issues to work out – we are simply spiritual beings here to have a human experience.
